拳击运动的文明化进程与顾拜旦的贡献

摘　　要：通过对拳击运动的历史回顾,说明该项目源远流长,在漫长的历史进程中经历了由野蛮到文明的深刻变化。其间,人们曾利用拳击来解决纠纷,调整社会关系,也为了保护拳击手创设了专用器具,制定了规则,使它逐渐成为一种高尚的体育运动。当奥林匹克运动兴起以来,人们试图将拳击列为竞赛项目,却遭遇到了重重阻碍,经过顾拜旦先生的不懈努力,终于使理想变为了现实。而顾拜旦先生从理论上为拳击运动端正名分,并在实际运作当中大力提倡,他的贡献是不可低估的。The progression of boxing in retrospect reveals that the event has found its root in the depths of history,experiencing a long period of transformation from barbarism to civilization and thus rendering profound changes.In the process,people used boxing to resolve disputes and regulate social relations;also to protect the boxers they created special apparatus and developed rules,gradually turning boxing into a noble sport.Since the rise of the Olympic Movement,people tried to classify boxing as one of the contest events;however their attempt encountered many obstacles;it was through the tireless efforts of Mr.Pierre de Coubertin that the vision was turned into a reality.Mr.Pierre de Coubertin made corrections to the origins of boxing with a theoretical approach,and advocated its pragmatic implementations;his contribution should not be underestimated.
