基于ArcGIS的数据库地图制图相关思考

摘　　要：随着现代化科学技术水平的提升,越来越多的应用技术和软件设备开发和利用,推动数字地图制图技术的进一步提升,如AUTOCAD、CORELDRAW等,在数字制图中得到广泛应用。虽然这些应用软件制图技术水平较高,但是专业性较低,不是专门针对地图制图功能开发的应用软件。所以在这些应用软件中没有特定的地图符合表达方式,在地图制图功能发挥方面存在一定的限制性。而Arc GIS是专业化的地图制图软件,具备完善的地图表达符号,尤其在地图制图专业化方面具有明显的优势,在实际的数字化地图制图工作中获得极大的应用空间。With the improvement of modern science and technology, more and more application technologies and software are developed and utilized, which promote the further improvement of digital mapping technology, such as AUTOCAD, CORELDRAW and so on, which are widely used in digital mapping. Although these applications have a high level of mapping technology, they are not professional and are not specially developed for cartographic functions. Therefore,there are no characteristic maps in these applications, which are in line with the way of expression, and there are certain restrictions on the function of cartography. Arc GIS is a professional cartographic software with perfect map expression symbols, especially in the specialization of cartography, so it has a great application space in the actual digital cartography.
