摘　　要：在20世纪三四十年代,以华西协合大学为中心的一批优秀社会学家和人类学家为中国人文社会科学“本土化”做出了卓越努力。蒋旨昂属于他们之中拥有明确“学术自觉”的佼佼者,他的《社会工作导论》以“建立中国社会工作之体系”为目标,可以说是中国社会工作知识体系构建的最初尝试。而《战时的乡村社区政治》则立足于社区,把田野调查一类“地方性知识”融入学术表达和理论建构之中。著名人类学家施坚雅在1964—1965年间发表了影响深远的《中国农村的市场和社会结构》系列论文,主要依据的是其在成都南郊的高店子一带进行田野调查的资料,而蒋旨昂就是施坚雅在华西协合大学访学期间的指导教授。尽管施坚雅受到蒋旨昂的影响,他和蒋旨昂的基本取向还是有不小的差异。In the 1930s and 1940s,a group of eminent sociologists and anthropologists,mainly based in West China Union University,contributed greatly to the“localization”of the humanities and social sciences in China.As a representative of such scholars,Jiang Zhi ang set as his target“establishing China s social work system”in his Introduction to Social Work,which was an early attempt in this respect.Another work of his,Village Community Politics in Wartime China,focused in community and aimed to integrate“local knowledge”from field investigation into his theoretic construction.G.William Skinner(1925-2008),a distinguished American anthropologist,published in 1964-45 a series of papers in his Marketing and Social Structure in Rural China,based on his field work in Gaodianzi in the southern suburb of Chengdu,which he conducted as a visiting scholar at West China Union University,under the guidance of Professor Jiang Zhi ang.
