“点名”新兴用法的产生及其动因——兼谈新媒体催生下旧词新义的发展

摘　　要：“点名”原是表示按名册查点人员或指名(点名;),受到认知、语境、表达需求、会话原则的影响,产生了新的意义和用法,发展出了新的功能,即号召全民参与(点名;)、表达评价义(点名;)。网络语境表达的高度自由化和需求多样性催生了一系列旧词新义的产生。“点名”的发展正是旧词新用的具体表现。Roll call originally means to check a person against a list(roll call 1). However, it has taken on new sense and function such as getting all people involved(roll call 2) and expressing evaluation meaning(roll call 3), under the influence of cognition, context, expression needs and conversational principles. This exactly exemplifies how a word evolves semantically with the rapid development of new media, which facilitates liberal expression to accommodate diversified needs.
