摘　　要：白细胞介素18结合蛋白(IL-18BP)是组成型分泌蛋白,对IL-18有极高亲和力,二者结合后阻断IL-18生物学活性。IL-18是导致Th1细胞因子反应的早期信号,该反应是细胞毒性T细胞反应所必需,IL-18BP与IL-18结合后,可以抑制Th1细胞免疫应答的早期阶段,减少IFN-γ的产生。老年炎性疾病的严重程度与IL-18、IL-18BP的失衡有关,而二者的水平在老年自身免疫性疾病中均显著升高,与疾病的发生、发展关系密切。IL-18BP对IL-18的拮抗作用能为这两类疾病的治疗提供新策略。Interleukin-18 binding protein(IL-18 BP) is a constitutive secretory protein with a high affinity for IL-18,and the combination of the two proteins block the biological activity of IL-18.IL-18 is an early signal leading to the Th1 cytokine response, which is necessary for the cytotoxic T cell response.When IL-18 BP binds to IL-18,it inhibits the early stage of the Th1 cell immune response and reduces the production of IFN-γ.The severity of elderly inflammatory diseases is related to the imbalance between IL-18 and IL-18 BP.Both IL-18 and IL-18 BP levels were significantly increased in elderly autoimmune diseases and were closely related to the occurrence and development of the disease.The antagonism of IL-18 BP against IL-18 may provide a new strategy for the treatment of these two diseases.
