摘　　要：以关联理论为视角,选取小说《傲慢与偏见》中的人物对话,分析模糊限制语的语用功能,包括协调人际关系、维护面子和自尊以及展示自我修养等。使用模糊限制语是女性常用的一种交际技巧,能帮助其顺利达到交际目的。From the perspective of Relevance Theory, the author, based on relevance theory, takes dialogues in Pride and Prejudice as examples to explore the pragmatic functions of hedges, including interpersonal coordination, face preservation and self-display, so as to show that the usage of hedges is a good communicative skill for females, which can help them achieve their communication goals smoothly.
