This study used phosphogypsum to prepare wet mixed mortar in wall plastering. The effects of phosphogypsum dosage, cement dosage, plasticizer dosage and curing conditions on the properties of mortar were discussed, and its mechanism of action was analyzed. The results show that the optimum proportion of phosphogypsum compound cement mortar is 600 kg/m^(3) of phosphogypsum,300 kg/m^(3) of cement,6 kg/m^(3) of plasticizer,564 kg/m^(3) of machine-made sand and 280 kg/m^(3) of water, and the proportion of phosphogypsum is 41%,its performance is better than the requirements of GB/T 25181—2010"Ready-Mixed Mortar".Through SEM analysis,it was found that phosphogypsum reacted with hydration products formed by cement in alkaline environment to form hydrated calcium sulfoaluminate(AFt)with expansive properties. In addition, the phosphogypsum particles are finer and can be filled in the pores, making the interface structure relatively denser.
