摘　　要：作为维多利亚时期最重要的诗人之一,托马斯·哈代擅长从个人生活局限的地理区域和特殊的个人经验出发,建构普世性主题。从地方性与普遍性、个人化与非个人化以及瞬间与永恒三个方面的辩证关系来探讨哈代的诗歌创作理念,旨在阐明哈代通过对特殊性问题的发掘,揭示普遍的人类生存的本质和世界发展的规律。通过对普世主题的建构,哈代表达了深刻的人文关怀和对人类生存困境出路的不懈探索。As one of the most important poets in the Victorian period,Thomas Hardy is good at constructing universal themes by extracting profound thought from his personal life in the limited geographical areas.This paper intends to explore Hardy′s poetry creation concepts from the following three aspects:the dialectical relationship between locality and globality,personalization and impersonality,and the instant and the eternity,aiming to discuss Hardy′s endeavor to reveal the nature of human existence and the common law of development.Through the construction of the universal theme,Hardy expresses his profound humanistic care and unremitting exploration of the way out of the plight of human existence.
