独生与非独生子女大学生生活满意度的差异: 基于倾向值匹配的分析

摘　　要：通过倾向值匹配的方法,对方便取样的1953名大学生生活满意度差异进行考察,探讨剥离家庭资本后,独生子女影响生活满意度的真实效应。结果发现,在倾向值匹配之前,独生子女的生活满意度显著高于非独生子女的生活满意度,且在家庭资本的三个指标上独生子女均好于非独生子女家庭。经过倾向值匹配处理后,独生子女与非独生子女大学生在生活满意度评分上并无显著差异。研究结果表明,对于独生子女和非独生子女大学生存在的生活满意度差异不能完全归咎于独生与否,而应当重视家庭资本在其中的影响。这些结论为深层次理解大学生的生活满意度提供了经验证据。In this study,we examined the differences in life satisfaction based on a convenient sample of 1953 college students by Propensity Score Matching(PSM)method to explore the true effect of only child on life satisfaction after stripping the influence of family capital.The results show that the life satisfaction of only-child is significantly higher than that of non-only-child before matching,and the only-child is better than the non-only-child family on the three indicators of family capital.There is no significant difference in life satisfaction between only-child and non-only-child college students after propensity matching.The results indicate that the difference in life satisfaction between only-child and non-only-child college students cannot be completely attributed to only-child or not,but the influence of family capital should be emphasized.These conclusions provide empirical evidence for a deeper understanding of life satisfaction of college students.
