大熊猫主食竹新品种‘卧龙红’

摘　　要：1981年,中国大熊猫保护研究中心从马边大风顶自然保护区引入八月竹Chimonobambusa szechuanensis到卧龙自然保护区核桃坪基地进行栽培,2010年在其人工居群中发现紫红色秆和枝的变异植株,后分离移栽、连续观察至今,其紫红色秆和枝特征保持稳定。经研究考证,确认为大熊猫主食竹一新栽培品种,现将其命名为‘卧龙红’Chimonobambusa szechuanensis‘Wolonghong’。In 1981,Chimonobambusa szechuanensis(Rendle)Keng f.was introduced from Mabian Dafengding Nature Reserve to the Hetaoping base of China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda in Wolong Nature Reserve.In 2010,some individuals with aubergine culms and branches were found in the cultivated population.Those individuals were separated,optimized and cultivated further.The aubergine color on culms and branches was retained in these individuals.In this paper,it was described as a new bamboo cultivar,Chimonobambusa szechuanensis‘Wolonghong’,as the giant panda’s staple food bamboo.
