摘　　要：该项目绿色的矩形体量充满自信,就像一座纪念碑一样矗立于新建的Sant Boi de Llobregat公园内。项目坐落于巴塞罗那机场以北一个由各种建筑组成的商业区和一个由街区边界清晰划分的住宅区之间。Caracol是这座由Estudio Herreros建筑事务所设计的新住宅楼的名字,在西班牙语中的意思是"蜗牛壳",在这个项目中指的是住宅楼光滑的外部和中空的内部。土地使用规划禁止沿建筑立面设置阳台,因此,建筑师将私人空间和共享的开放空间转移到了建筑的内部。Self-confident and resembling a monument,the green rectangular volume is situated in the newly created park of Sant Boi de Llobregat,located between a heterogeneous commercial zone north of Barcelona's airport and a residential area clearly delineated by block borders.Caracol,the name of the new residential building designed by Estudio Herreros,is Spanish for"snail shell"and in this case refers to the smooth exterior and hollow interior.The land use plan prohibited balconies along the facades.Therefore,the architects shifted private and shared open spaces into the block interior.The new building completely occupies the available plot.
