基于最近邻值和枚举法的车号字符分割及拼接方法

摘　　要：针对重度断裂的货运列车车号字符分割准确率低的问题,提出了一种基于最近邻值和枚举法的字符分割及字符拼接新方法。该方法首先进行车号区域图像预处理和获取字符投影区域边界所在列的操作,然后采用基于最近邻值和车号字符先验知识的分割方法获取车号的前5个完整字符,最后运用基于枚举法的车号断裂字符拼接方法获取车号的后5个完整字符,进而实现对整个车号的字符分割任务。实验结果表明,与现有的基于字符轮廓上下特征以及字符宽度先验知识和数字字符弧特征的字符分割方法相比,所提出的基于最近邻值和枚举法的字符分割及拼接新方法和现有方法对各类车号分割准确率的平均值分别为80.76%和95.23%;新方法和现有方法对重度断裂的车号分割准确率分别为95.83%和93.75%,新方法比现有方法的分割准确率提高了2.22%;当重度断裂的车号存在一定的旋转角度时,新方法对其分割准确率的平均值要高于现有方法,且比现有方法分割准确率的平均值提高了2.78%。Regarding the problem of low accuracy of segmentation of severely broken freight train number characters,a new method of character segmentation and character splicing based on the nearest neighbor value and enumeration method is proposed.The method firstly preprocesses the image of the train number area and obtains the column of the boundary of the character projection area.Then it adopts the segmentation method based on the nearest neighbor value and the prior knowledge of the train number character to obtain the first 5 complete characters of the train number.Finally,the train number broken character splicing method based on the enumeration method can obtain the last 5 complete characters of the train number,and realize the character segmentation task of the whole train number.The experimental results show that:compared with the existing character segmentation method based on the upper and lower features of character contour,the prior knowledge of character width and the arc feature of digital characters,the average accuracy of the proposed new method and the existing method for the segmentation of various trainnumbers is 80.76% and 95.23% respectively;the accuracy of the new method and the existing method in the segmentation of train number with severe fracture is 95.83% and 93.75% respectively,and the segmentation accuracy of the new method is 2.22% higher than that of the existing method.When the severely broken train number has a certain rotation angle,the average segmentation accuracy of the new method is higher than that of the existing method,and it is 2.78% higher than the average of the segmentation accuracy of the existing method.
