摘　　要：清华大学三线分校是国家大三线建设中央直属项目,最初定名“清华大学西南分校”,后更名为“清华大学绵阳分校”,工程代号“651工程”,通信邮箱号“绵阳201信箱”。分校建设与国际国内一系列特大事件直接相关,毛泽东指示清华大学在三线建立分校,周恩来批示同意“651工程”复工,邓小平批示同意绵阳分校迁往北京。清华大学三线分校教职工在物资匮乏、生活艰苦和政治运动频繁的年代,发扬艰苦创业、勇于创新、团结协作、无私奉献的“三线精神”,在人才培养、科学研究和服务社会方面取得了重要成就。The Tsinghua University Branch during the Third-line construction period is a project of the national Third-line construction administrated by the central government.It was initially named“The Southwest Branch of Tsinghua University”and later renamed“The Mianyang Branch of Tsinghua University.”The project code is“Project 651,”and the correspondence mailbox is“Mailbox 201,Mianyang.”The construction of the branch is directly related to a series of major events at home and abroad.Chairman Mao Zedong instructed Tsinghua University to establish a branch in the Third-line area.Premier Zhou Enlai approved resuming“Project 651,”and vice chairman Deng Xiaoping approved relocating the Mianyang branch back to Beijing.In the era of materials shortage,hard life,and frequent political movements,the teaching staff of the Tsinghua University Branch of the Third-line exerted their“Third-line spirit”of hard work,innovation,unity and cooperation,and selfless dedication.They have made important achievements in talent training,scientific research,and serving society.
