文学伦理学批评视域下《一个兼职印第安人绝对真实的日记》解读

摘　　要：以文学伦理学批评为研究方法,在文本细读的基础上,结合文学伦理学批评的相关术语充分挖掘美国印第安裔作家谢尔曼·阿莱克西的小说《一个兼职印第安人绝对真实的日记》的伦理价值,系统论述小说体现的伦理思想:重点解读了14岁的印第安少年阿诺德在贫穷和绝望中无望挣扎的社会以及家庭伦理环境;梳理了小说中少年们的伦理困惑,在人性因子与兽性因子的博弈中逐渐成熟;分析了阿诺德在家园与梦想的两难困境中的伦理选择;最终阿诺德确定了自己伦理身份,实现印第安种族身份与白人主流文化身份的融合统一。Taking ethical literary criticism as the research method,this paper uses the relevant terms of ethical literary criticism to excavate the ethical values of Sherman Alexie’s novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian on the basis of close reading,and systematically discusses the ethical ideas embodied in the novel.The paper focuses on the social and family ethical environment of Arnold,a 14-year-old Indian boy,who is hopelessly struggling in poverty and despair;combs the ethical confusion of the teenagers who gradually mature in the game between human factors and animal factors;analyzes Arnold’s ethical choice in the dilemma of home and dream.Finally,Arnold established his ethical identity and realized the integration and unity of Indian ethnic identity and white mainstream cultural identity.
