CIIS President Appointed to United Nations High-Level Advisory Board

摘　　要：On March 7,at the invitation of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres,CIIS President Xu Bu was appointed to the Secretary General's High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism.With former President of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and former Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Lofven serving as co-chairs,the Advisory Board comprises 12 eminent current or former global leaders,officials and experts.Following its formal establishment on March 18,the Board will be tasked with building on the ideas in the Secretary-General's September 2021 report Our Common Agenda to make concrete suggestions for more effective multilateral arrangements across a range of key global issues,which would inform deliberations at the proposed Summit of the Future in 2023.
