摘 要:Global warming and environmental degradation force policymakers to make far-reaching decisions, increasingly exposing banks to severe climate transition and physical risks.Banks may want to pursue sustainable credit and investing strategies and consider the impact of global warming and the intensification of natural calamities on their lending rates and asset holdings. However, will bank managers do this under all circumstances? And if not, what are possible governmental strategies to nudge banks forward?Three papers in this special section on‘Green Banking and Finance’in this issue provide some well-documented answers.
