摘 要:长距离光纤传感中需要利用EDFA来实现光放大,降低光损耗,在某些需要光互易结构的特殊应用中,比如相位OTDR分布式光纤传感系统以及长距离基于Sagnac或Michelson结构的光纤传感系统中,还要求传感光纤线路上的EDFA可以进行双向的光放大。在长距离光纤传感过程中往往还需要级联多个双向EDFA,这会给系统调试带来复杂性和噪声,本文通过研究双向EDFA在不同条件下的最佳工作状态,提出了一种双向EDFA在长距离光纤传感系统中的级联方案,即独立恒量控制法,可以在不改变已有双向EDFA工作状态的基础上,级联新的传感光纤和双向EDFA,因此能够使系统在不改变工作状态的情况下增加传感距离,减轻增加级联双向EDFA带来的负面影响。Long-distance optical fiber sensing requires the use of Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers to achieve optical amplification and reduce optical loss.In some special applications that require optical reciprocal structures,such as phased OTDR distributed optical fiber sensing systems and long-distance based on Sagnac or Michelson interferometer,the optical fiber sensing system also requires that the Erbium-doped fiber amplifier on the sensing optical fiber line can perform Bidirectional optical amplification.In the process of long-distance optical fiber sensing,it is often necessary to cascade multiple Bidirectional Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers,which will bring complexity and noise to the system debugging.In this paper,by studying the optimal working state of the Bidirectional Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers under different conditions,we put forward a cascading scheme of bidirectional EDFA in long-distance optical fiber sensing system,namely the independent constant control method,which can cascade new sensing optical fiber and Bidirectional EDFA without changing the working state of the existing amplifier.Therefore,the system can increase the sensing distance without changing the working state,and reduce the negative effects caused by the increase of the cascade bidirectional EDFA.
