摘  要:Dear Editor,Plant viruses spread from the initially infected cells to adjacent cells through plasmodesmata(PD) to complete their successful infections in host plants.This cell-to-cell movement requires specific viral protein(s),known as movement protein(s)(MP).Generally,virus MPs can bind to nucleic acids and modify PD size exclusion limit(Schoelz et al.,2011).Geminiviruses are DNA viruses that cause devastating losses to food crops worldwide,and encode 4–8 classical viral proteins(Gong et al.,2021;Hu et al.,2020.
