摘　　要：小城镇作为承接农村转移人口的重要载体,其公共空间的优化更新对提升居民生活幸福感、增加该镇的竞争力与吸引力,具有重要意义。义乌佛堂镇是浙江省小城市培育计划对象。在2019年度一次联合设计工作坊中,选择了具有代表性的六类公共空间进行调研分析,提出相应的优化改造策略。这种呼应小城市特有人群类型与建设重点,挑选更新对象并从使用者需求出发形成设计构思的做法,能为同类型小城市的更新设计实践提供借鉴。Small towns are important carriers to undertake the transfer of rural population,and the optimization and renewal of their public spaces is of great significance to enhance the happiness of residents’lives and increase the town’s competitiveness and attractiveness.Yiwu Fotang is a sample of Zhejiang’s Small City Fostering Program.In a joint design workshop 2019,six representative public spaces were selected for investigation and analysis,and corresponding optimization and transformation strategies were proposed.This approach of selecting renewal objects in response to the unique population types and construction focus of small cities,and forming design concepts based on user needs,can provide a reference for the renewal design practice of small cities of the same type.
