摘　　要：20世纪80年代末,美国政治学家弗朗西斯·福山提出了“历史终结论”,认为人类尝试所有其他政治经济制度发现行不通之后,西方民主和自由市场资本主义的无形力量会取得胜利。然而,福山的“历史终结论”最终被历史狠狠打脸:“9·11”恐怖袭击、伊拉克战争、2007-2008年美国房地产市场崩溃、全球金融危机,以及美国国会大厦被占领、在阿富汗惨败收场……The end of the “End of History” is evident.The unipolar model and the globalism dominated by the West have also ended.Fortunately for all of us, there is a positive option, i.e., to build a Community of a Shared Future for the Mankind. The concept was born only a decade ago, but already enjoys wide international interest and support. Friedrich Hegel coined the concept of Zeitgeist, an invisible force dominating the characteristics of a given epoch in world history. The new “Spirit of the Age” today is to build a “Community of a Shared Future for the Mankind.”
