谈谈对高校古籍保护工作的思考——基于北京大学图书馆古籍业务  

Thoughts on Preservation of Ancient Books in University Libraries——Based on the Experience of Peking University Library

摘　　要：“中华古籍保护计划”实施15年来,北京大学图书馆结合本馆业务需求在馆藏古籍保护方面取得了不少成绩。根据经验,我们提出高校图书馆古籍保护工作应当遵循3项原则:与国家古籍保护中心推行的业务不交叉;结合高校图书馆的古籍工作现实,推进古籍保护业务的开展;调动高校图书馆古籍业务人员的积极性,广泛参与,早出成果。高校古籍保护中心成立之初应当尽快推进各高校图书馆古籍资源数字化建设;提倡联合协作,整理编辑出版《全国高校图书馆所藏未刊善本古文献丛刊》;推动各高校利用馆藏古籍开展协同服务教育教学;组织研发适用于各馆实际业务需求的“高校古籍资源服务管理系统”。Peking University Library has made a lot of achievements in preserving ancient books according to real demands since“Chinese Ancient Book Preservation Program”was implemented fifteen years ago.Based on practical experiences,the author suggests that the preservation of ancient books in university libraries should follow the three rules.First,the work content might differ from the work of National Center for Preservation of Ancient Books.Second,the work content of ancient books preservation should be closely linked with the reality of university libraries.Third,we should stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of related staff participation in order to create achievement quickly.At the beginning of the establishment of University Center for Preservation of Ancient Books,we need to proceed the following work.The digitalization and co-publishing project of the rare ancient books which have not been printed in university libraries should be promoted.The collection of ancient books might be used in more comprehensive services for education and research.We also need to promote the research and development of“Ancient Book Resource Management System”which is suitable for the actual demands of each university library.
