摘　　要：随着我国推进职业教育进程的日渐深入,新建普通本科专业教育在教育体系中的位置越来越被忽视。针对这一现状,分别从工程教育认证对国家、学校、专业、学生4个方面的意义进行了论述,阐释了工程教育认证对新建普通本科专业的重要性,提出推进工程教育认证首先要从学校各级决策层的重视、教师队伍建设、充分发挥学生的作用3方面做好工作。With the development of vocational education in China, the position of newly-established undergraduate major in the education system has been increasingly ignored. In view of this situation, the paper respectively discusses the significance of engineering education certification to the country, schools, majors and students, explains the importance of engineering education certification to the new general undergraduate major, and proposes that the first step to promote the engineering education certification.It is necessary to pay attention to the decision-making level at all levels of the school, construct the teachers’ team and give full play to the role of students.
