摘　　要：《别名格雷斯》是加拿大作家玛格丽特·阿特伍德的第一部历史小说,是作家追寻民族国家理念的经典之作。小说通过类似侦探故事般的历史回溯,重构了加拿大民族和国家身份话语。阿特伍德在小说中质疑了格雷斯·马克斯案件的官方历史版本,挖掘出潜藏在历史深处的“加拿大性”。她还试图通过“反遗忘”策略,重拾加拿大民族话语中那些“被遗忘的过往”;通过小说中的“百纳被”意象,探讨加拿大的“马赛克文化”。Alias Grace is the first historical novel by Canadian writer Margaret Atwood.It reconstructs the discourse of nationhood through a historical retrospect similar to detective stories.This paper argues that Atwood explores the “Canadianness” hidden in history by questioning the official version of the case of Grace Marks.It then probes into the technique of “anti-forgetting” Atwood employs in the novel in order to recover “the forgotten past” in Canadian national discourse.Finally, this paper discusses Canada’s “mosaic culture” through the image of quilt-making in the novel.
