从沉默无声到掷地有声:《可以吃的女人》的叙事声音解读

摘　　要：加拿大当代女性作家玛格丽特·阿特伍德的长篇小说《可以吃的女人》,细腻而深刻地描写了女主角玛丽安在长期遭受职场和生活的双重压制下,逐渐开始主动抗争,最后寻回自我的曲折历程。文章以女性主义叙事学代表人物苏珊·兰瑟的叙事声音为理论框架,通过对文本叙事技巧探究,分析小说在个人型叙事声音和作者型叙事声音结合作用下,女主角玛丽安如何在寻觅自我过程中重塑女性气质,获得意识觉醒以及阿特伍德如何隐藏在作品背后构建女性作家叙事权威,以此揭示当代社会女性性别政治斗争的现状,传递女性之声。Canadian contemporary female writer Margaret Atwood's novel,TheEdibleWoman,delicately and profoundly describes how the heroine Maryann seeks herself in the long suffering from the dual suppression of the work and life.The paper attempts to take narrative voice as the theoretical framework which is put for-ward by representative of feminist narratology called Susan Lancer.Through the exploration of narrative skills in the novel,the paper analyzes how the heroine reshapes femininity and acquires consciousness and how At-wood hides behind the text to construct her own discourse authority under the combination of individual narra-tive voice and authorial narrative voice.Under the analysis,the paper aims to reveal the present situation of gen-der political struggle between male and female in contemporary society and spread the voice of feminism.
