摘　　要：密切关注人类生存现状的科恩兄弟,充分发挥电影作为人类思想文化传播阵地的作用,在新世纪之初勇担救赎人类的历史责任,通过电影《老无所依》深刻揭示了人类社会物质繁华背后的虚无主义精神危机,呼唤进入新世纪的人们用信仰与理智战胜虚无主义思潮,重建人类精神家园.Cohen brothers,paying close attention to the human survival status and giving full play to the role of human ideological and cultural communication position,at the beginning of the new century,took the re-sponsibility of redeem mankind through the film"No Country for Old Men"which profoundly revealed the hu-man society material prosperity behind the nihilism spiritual crisis and called people with faith and reason to o-vercome nihilism,so as to rebuild the human spiritual home.
