摘 要:甚低频(Very Low Frequency,VLF)信号在地面—电离层波导中传播,当太阳耀斑爆发时日地空间中X射线通量增大,使电离层电子密度分布受到影响,进而导致地面—电离层波导状态发生改变,造成接收到的VLF信号出现异常.本研究利用位于河南省新乡市的VLF信号接收站,对俄罗斯Alpha导航系统发射的VLF信号进行长期的监测和观察后,发现X射线耀斑爆发引起VLF信号相位产生缓变型和急始型两种类型响应.与美国气象卫星(GOES)观测的耀斑数据进行对比,发现VLF信号相位产生两种类型响应与耀斑到达峰值所用时长在耀斑持续时长中的占比有关,缓变型相位对应的耀斑到达峰值时长在耀斑持续时长中占比通常在30%~40%之间,急始型则不高于30%.研究X射线耀斑与VLF信号相位响应之间的对应关系,对进一步研究VLF信号传播及不同类型X射线耀斑的成因有积极的推动作用.Very Low Frequency(VLF)signals propagate in the earth-ionosphere waveguide.When the solar flare erupts,the X-ray flux in the solar-terrestrial space increases,which affects the distribution of electron density in the ionosphere,and then leads to the state of earth-ionosphere waveguide changes,resulting in abnormal VLF signals received.This study uses the VLF signal receiving station located in the city of Xinxiang,Henan Province,to monitor and observe the VLF signal transmitted by the Russian Alpha navigation system for a long time.It is found that the phase of the VLF signal caused by X-ray flare burst can lead to two types of responses which are the sudden commencement and the slowly varying.Compared with flare data observed by the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite(GOES)in the U.S.,it is found that the two types of responses generated by the VLF signals are related to the proportion of the time taken for the flare to reach the peak in the duration of the flare.The time for the flare to reach the peak corresponding to the slow varying type usually accounts for 30%~40%of the duration of the flare,and the sudden commencement type is not higher than 30%.Studying the corresponding relationship between X-ray flares and VLF signal phase response plays a positive role in further studying VLF signal propagation and the causes of different types of X-ray flares.
