摘　　要：伟大的无产阶级革命家瞿秋白对现代汉语书面语的形成与发展有重要影响。他反对脱离汉语表达习惯的欧化汉语,反对“五四式新文言”和“时文的文言”,反对听不懂的哑巴言语。他主张创建一个大众能“耳治”听得懂的新语体,用俗话写一切文章,形成“现代的中国普通话”;主张用白话做本位来正确地翻译一切东西;创造精密的、清楚的、丰富的新的言语。他在多种文体的文艺创作及翻译实践中,践行了他的现代汉语书面语的理论主张。QU Qiubai,a great proletarian revolutionist,has had an impact on the formation and develop ment of modern written Chinese.He opposed Europeanized Chinese that broke away from the habit of Chinese expression,opposed the“May 4th New Classical Chinese”and“classical Chinese during the age of imperial examinations”,and opposed dumb words that he could not understand.He advocated the creation of a new language style that the public can understand in the teaching and learning process,writing all articles in common words,and forming“modern Mandarin Chinese”;he advocated using vernacular as the standard to correctly translate everything;and he advocated creating precise,clear and rich new words.He practiced his theory of modern Chinese written language in his literary creation and translation practice of various styles.
