摘 要:环状RNA(circRNA)是一类特殊的非编码RNA,与线性RNA不同,circRNA是前信使RNA(pre-mRNA)通过反向剪接形成的封闭环状结构,表达高度稳定并广泛分布在真核生物中。circRNA主要通过充当微RNA(miRNA)海绵或与RNA结合蛋白结合发挥多种功能。circRNA可作为多种疾病的生物标志物。最新研究表明,circRNA在糖尿病和相关慢性并发症的发生发展中也起着重要作用。本综述旨在总结目前circRNA在糖尿病及其相关并发症发生发展中的作用及其机制的研究进展。Circular RNA(circRNA)is a special group of non-coding RNA.Unlike linear RNA,circRNA is a closed circular structure formed by reverse splicing of pre-mRNA,with highly stable expression and wide distribution in eukaryotes.CircRNA has multiple functions by acting as microRNA sponges or binding with RNA-binding proteins.They can be used as biomarkers for many diseases.The latest research shows that circRNA plays a role in the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus and the related chronic complications.In this review,we summarized the current progress and underlying mechanisms of circRNA in diabetes mellitus and the related complications.
