摘  要:作为英语专业的一门主干课程,“英语文学”的重要性不言而喻,很多英语文学作品具有语言美、情感美和思想美,尤其成长类小说,能让学生在提升语言技能和拓宽文化知识的同时,受到思想道德教育,培养具有很强的思想政治教育的价值。应采用教学与实践结合法、辩证比较法、线上线下结合法等新的教学方法开展“英语文学”教学,充分挖掘课程的思政价值,融入专业教育与思政教育,培养学生良好品德和精妙的专业才能。To cultivate the qualified talents for the new age, the teaching of every course should be combined with moral education at higher institutions at present so to achieve the integration of knowledge imparting, skills developing and values shaping. English majors should be trained to prepare themselves for future career involving culture exchange and foreign affairs, in which the knowledge of both Chinese and Western learning and the confidence as a Chinese are of great importance. English Literature, as a major course for English majors, offers a good opportunity for them to learn great English literary works boasting of the beauty of language, feelings and ideas,especially the Bildungsromans in which the story of how the leading characters grow up can inspire the young students to improve their mentality. The traditional teaching methods of the course are outdated, and this paper advocates such new methods as experiential learning, comparative learning, blended learning: online & offline so to anticipate better teaching effects.
