摘 要:张野塘籍贯有寿州、河北两种说法。所谓“河北”,《琐闻录》原始表述为“大河以北”。寿州北曲繁盛,艺人辈出,可能与明朝在凤阳设置高墙有关。由张野塘所传之弦索,或乃凤阳一带所流行的“偏于楚腔”,被讥为“夸调”的北曲。与魏良辅之女结合后,张野塘所传之北曲由语言南方化逐步完成音乐南方化,为魏良辅改良昆曲创造了条件。张野塘应为凤阳寿州(今安徽寿县)人,可能因其声腔与黄河以北声腔相近或寿州彼时处于黄河一线,故而被称为大河以北之人,进而为后世讹传为“河北人”。There are two different opinions towards Zhang Yetang’s birthplace,that is,Shouzhou and Hebei,but the original expression“Hebei”means“north of the river”.Maybe Zhang’s string music is inclined to“Chu”tune.At that time,Shouzhou belonged to Fengyang,where northern opera was flourishing and there were a large number of artists because of the high city-walls for protection.Zhang may have learned northern opera from Fengyang,but what he learned was ridiculed as“Kua Tune”because of his southern dialect.After his marriage with Wei Liangfu’s daughter,Zhang’s music of northern tune gradually became southern,creating conditions for Wei Liangfu to improve Kunqu opera.Zhang is more likely to be from Shouzhou,Fengyang(Shouxian,Anhui at present).Influenced by art and geography,he was called a man from north of the great river,and thus later a man from Hebei.
