从实物典型到事体侧显——对名词范畴认知加工的认识论解析

摘　　要：Langacker明确指出名词范畴所能侧显的诸般事体以实物概念为其典型,但是这个所谓的实物具有多重含义和所指,广义上它可以包括个体实物、实物种类及实物种类本质这三者,不过,在严格意义上只有个体实物符合典型实物的所有标准,这是因为它具有实在性、个别性和独立性这三大存在特性。尽管如此,其他两种实物仍然可以作为次典型的实物获得典型事体的成员资格,因为个体实物的存在本身必然指向这两者,并且它们的认知加工都同样遵循“识分+组合+物化”三步联动的基础认知模式,只不过它们的认知加工模式同时还具有各自的样态特征,分别呈现为个体化、总体化和一般化的三种不同样态,而这三种样态也不是各不相干,相反,它们之间具有层层奠基的特定关系。Langacker pinpoints the concept of physical object as the prototype of various things that can be profiled by the category of noun,yet the so-called physical object has multiple meanings and references;in a broader sense, it involves individual physical objects, types of physical object and the essence of the type of physical object. However, in a strict sense, only the individual physical object satisfies the criteria for a typical physical object, for it possesses existential properties of being realistic, unique and independent. Nevertheless, the other two kinds of physical object are still qualified for the membership of typical things as sub-typical physical objects for the reason that the existence of any individual physical object itself entails these other two, and the process of their cognition follows the same basic cognitive model—the three-step linkage of “discerning +grouping + reification”,only that the model is differentiated and presented as three different patterns of individualizing, totalizing and generalizing as regards the respective process of their cognition. Despite this, these three patterns are not unrelated to each other but among them there is a specific relationship of one laying foundations for another.
