摘 要:随着数字技术中介的符号运作,从二维平面转向更多元多维的空间形态,新沟通经验刺激媒介研究的理论方法也随之变化。新方法推动数字媒介新问题的提出,解除大众媒介范式对数字经验的遮蔽,更突显数字技术巨大的社会、文化和经济涵义。方法创新是新媒体理论创新最重要却常被忽视的构成。本文从空间视野出发,提出将身体姿态和感官体验、导航定向、人和非人元素稳定的拼装和多元移动性等问题引入数字媒介研究。针对同一问题或可制造媒介技术系统运作的断裂或短路瞬间,寻求片段痕迹,或系统考察数字媒介在循环往复中铭刻的“纹迹”。通过将新的问题意识与两种路径交叉形成矩阵,本文力图描绘数字传播研究方法创新从空间视野切入的整体版图。The flow of symbolics as mediated by digital technologies changes from two dimensional to three-dimensional forms of space.Novel communication experience prompts the theories and methodologies of media research to evolve accordingly.New methodology demands new problematics;exposes the reduction of digital experience by the mass-media paradigm;and accentuates the gross social,cultural and economic significance of digital technologies.Innovations in research methods have become the most important but often ignored aspect of theory-building in new media research.Drawing on space literature,this article proposes that bodily senses,guided navigation,naturalized assembling between human and non-human actors and multiple modes of mobilities be treated as core problematics in digial media studies.Each of these can be approached negatively to seek traces of system break or short-circuit.Or,positively to observe the repeated operations of media technologies.Combining approaches with new problematics into a matrix of methodological possibilities,this article aims to map out the landscape of media research method innovations from the space perspective.
