互联网使用、就业表现与农民健康——基于2016年中国劳动力动态调查数据的研究

摘　　要：本文使用2016年的中国劳动力动态调查(CLDS)数据,考察了互联网使用对农民健康的影响,以及就业表现在该过程中所发挥的作用。结果发现,互联网使用对农民健康具有显著的正面影响。考虑到可能存在的内生性问题,选择合适的工具变量进行内生性处理,所得结果仍然稳健。对影响机制的分析发现,互联网使用能够提升农民的就业表现,进而促进他们的健康改善。在此基础上,本文建议从提高农村互联网普及率、提速降费和扩展互联网应用场景等方面努力,以借力互联网的健康促进效应推动中国经济社会健康发展。Using the data from the China Labor-force Dynamic Survey(CLDS)2016,this study examines the effects of internet use on the health of rural residents in China and the role of employment performance in this process.The results showed that the use of the internet had a significant positive effect on the health of rural residents in China.After dealing with possible endogenous problems by applying appropriate instrumental variables estimation,the main findings of this study are still robust.The analysis of the impact mechanism shows that Internet use can improve the employment performance of rural residents in China,and then promote their health improvement.On this basis,this paper suggests that efforts should be made to improve the Internet penetration rate in rural areas,speed up and reduce fees and expand Internet application scenarios,so as to promote the healthy development of China’s economy and society through the health promotion effect of the internet.
