摘 要:前向波放大管是一种低电压、高效率、低噪声、可瞬时启动的正交场放大器,本文介绍了一种S波段低电压宽频带前向波放大管的模拟设计。从慢波结构色散特性、驻波系数、插入损耗等方面讨论了单螺旋耦合翼片慢波结构;定性分析了正交场器件冷启动技术,重点介绍前向波管冷阴极启动性能、阴极材料以及目前技术水平,并讨论了前向波放大管可以低电压工作的主要原因;在理论分析的基础上,建立了S波段前向波放大管仿真模型,通过优化设计了S波段低电压宽频带前向波放大管,在工作电压9.8 kV、工作磁场0.32 T的条件下,当激励功率为3 kW时,阳极脉冲电流小于12.0 A,输出脉冲功率超过60 kW,效率大于50%,增益大于13 dB,相对带宽超过10%。The forward-wave amplifier is a low voltage,high efficiency,low noise and instant startup crossed-field amplifier(CFA).An S-band low voltage broadband forward-wave amplifier is presented.Single helix-coupled vane is discussed in terms of dispersion characteristics,VSWR factor and insertion loss of slow wave structure.The cold-startup technology for crossed-field devices is qualitatively analyzed,the startup performance,cathode material and current technical level of the cold cathode are introduced importantly,and the main reasons for low voltage operating of forward-wave amplifier are also discussed.Based on theoretical analysis,a simulation model is established and an S-band low voltage broadband forward-wave amplifier is optimal designed.With the anode voltage of 9.8 kV and magnetic field of 0.32 T,when the drive power is 3 kW,the anode current is less than 12.0 A,the peak power is over 60 kW,the efficiency is greater than 50%,the gain is greater than 13 dB and the relative bandwidth exceeds 10%.
