摘　　要：库切的《迈克尔·K的生活和时代》沿袭了世界文学史上小人物的书写传统。迈克尔·K既有俄国现实主义文学中小人物的影子,又属于现代主义文学中一个不断逃离的小人物形象。迈克尔·K天生残疾,有心理障碍,卑微屑小,欲逃离生活的纷扰而不得,从而反衬出时代的混乱不堪,映照了南非的种族隔离历史。同时,迈克尔·K的病态也表现了人类在某种状态下身体与精神的双重孱弱特征,体现了人面对压迫历史和强权制度的无奈。The Life and Times of Michael K of Coetzee follow in the writing tradition of a small figure in world literature.Michael K is a small figure not only in Russian realistic literature,but also one who constantly escapes in modernism literature.Born disabled,mentally disabled and humble,Michael K’s inability to escape the distractions of life mirrors the chaos of the times and the history of apartheid in South Africa.At the same time,Michael K’s pathology also show the physical and mental weakness of human beings in a certain state,and reflect the helplessness of human beings in the face of oppressive history and powerful system.
