摘  要:本文对玉米花丝的生物学意义、生长发育过程、花丝颜色的形成和遗传机制进行阐述,总结在玉米品种特异性(Distinctness)、一致性(Uniformity)和稳定性(Stability)(简称DUS)测试中发现的花丝变化现象:玉米花丝颜色、长短、形态和着色部位在品种中呈现出丰富多样性;一些品种的花丝颜色在花丝生长发育过程中不发生变化,而另一些品种的花丝颜色会发生不同程度的变化,且玉米花丝颜色的变化会受温度、光照的影响。本文为玉米花丝性状的统一、规范描述提供参考。This paper illustrates the characteristics of maize tassel trait comprising its biological significance, growth and developmental process, as well as color formation and genetic mechanism. Maize tassel is an important agronomic trait for evaluation and appraisal of maize varieties, which can be characterized using a DUS test that determines the distinctiveness, uniformity, and stability of a maize variety. The DUS test of different maize varieties indicates that maize tassel trait highly varies with variety with respect to tassel color,length, and appearance, as well as the distributive pattern of coloring parts in tassels. Besides, in maize growth and developmental process, tassel color remains unchanged in some varieties while changing to different degrees in others, and it also changes with temperature and light. This paper provides a reference for the unified and standardized description of the character of maize tassel.
