余氏刊本《列女传》插图及其女性叙事探析

摘  要:余氏刊本《列女传》的插图久为人知,不过至今无人对其进行深入的专门研究。该本共有插图一百二十五幅,包括单面形式和双面合页连式二种,风格古雅质朴,构图时见匠心。刊刻者以图为重,题署顾恺之所绘,更用全本近半的版面绘图,且不时提醒读者关注插图,延续了依图作颂、图颂结合的悠久传统。作为集中表现女性的书籍插图本,余氏刊本多选择与女性身份和性别特征相关的内容绘图,并通过空间位置的安排和人物动作姿势的设计展开女性叙事。此本插图题署顾恺之绘,当系书坊假托。客观评价余氏刊本《列女传》插图,不应忽略其作为坊刻本插图存在的明显不足。The illustrations in Yu's publication"LienüZhuan"have been well known for a long time,but no in-depth research has been carried out on them so far.There are a total of 125 illustrations in this book,including both single-sided and double-sided hinged versions,with a quaint and simple style and ingenious composition.The publisher places great importance on the illustrations,which take up nearly half of the book layout and are inscribed to be drawn by Gu Kaizhi(which may not be true),and constantly reminds readers to pay attention to the illustrations,inheriting the long tradition of writing according to pictures and combining pictures with narratives.As an illustrated book focusing on women,the illustrations in Yu's publication are mostly related to women's identity and gender characteristics,and female narratives are developed through the arrangement of spatial position and the design of characters'movements and postures.The illustrations might be painted by the bookstore on the pretext of Gu Kaizhi.To objectively evaluate the illustrations of Yu's publication of"LienüZhuan",we should not ignore their obvious shortcomings as illustrations in a block-printed edition.
