明清小说与佛教善恶“因果”观的中国化

摘　　要：明清小说是佛教善恶“因果”观中国化的重要推手。一方面,明清小说吸收和借鉴了大量佛教文化,包括民间独特的佛教内容、悖离现实的表现手法以及佛教强烈的人文关怀等,拓展了佛教善恶“因果”观在中国的传播渠迳,促成其进一步被广大民众所认知、接纳;另一方面,明清小说利用本土文化,对佛教善恶“因果”观进行了选择性改造,包括将传统“宿命论”与“业报”观念紧密结合、突显善恶“因果”的执行者、对“善”与“伪善”的关系进行辩难等,合理解释了佛教善恶“因果”观之科学性的同时,促成其中国化的重要一步——“善有善报,恶有恶报”取代“诸恶莫作,众善奉行”,成为中国人在实际的佛教生活中坚守奉行的善恶“因果”观。The novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties are an important promoter of the sinicization of the concept of “cause and effect” in Buddhism.On the one hand, the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties absorb and use for reference a large number of Buddhist culture, including the unique folk Buddhist content, the way of expression contrary to reality and the strong humanistic concern of Buddhism, which expanded the channel of the dissemination of the concept of “cause and effect” of Buddhism, good and evil in China, and made it further recognized and accepted by the general public.Novels in the Ming and qing dynasties, on the other hand, using the native culture of Buddhism “causality” between good and evil ideas has carried on the comprehensive reform, including the traditional concept of “fatalism” and “karma” together, highlight the executor of the “cause and effect” between good and evil, on the relationship between the “good” and “hypocrisy” debate and so on, reasonable explain the buddhist view of good and evil “causal” scientific, at the same time is an important step in the contributed to its sinicization, namely “one good turn deserves another, what goes around comes around” instead of “don’t do evil, the good adherence to the”,become the Chinese actual stick to pursue in the life of the buddhist concept of good and evil “cause and effect”.
