摘  要:辅酶Q(Coenzyme Q,CoQ)能在动物机体所有组织和细胞中大量合成,是由一个苯醌环和多个异戊二烯构成的长链状的醌类化合物。CoQ是线粒体电子传递链中的辅助因子,对ATP的产生有着至关重要的作用。同时,CoQ是一种亲脂性的抗氧化剂,并且是唯一一种可以内源合成的脂溶性抗氧化剂。CoQ在动物体内含量会因为年龄、疾病和药物的影响而降低。不过,可以通过外源摄入的方法补充。文章阐述了CoQ在动物体内的合成、吸收转运过程和多种生理功能及其在宠物保健和疾病治疗中的作用。Coenzyme Q(CoQ) is a long-chain quinone compound composed of a benzoquinone ring and multiple isoprenes, which is synthesized in large quantities in all tissues and cells of animals. CoQ is a cofactor in the mitochondrial electron transport chain and plays a vital role in the production of ATP. At the same time, CoQ is a lipophilic antioxidant and the only fat-soluble antioxidant that can be synthesized endogenously. The contents of CoQ in animals will decrease due to age, disease and drugs. However, it can be supplemented by exogenous intake. This article reviewed the synthesis, absorption and transport process and multifarious physiological functions of CoQ in animals, and its role in pet health and disease treatment.
