摘　　要：以建筑材料的视角考察近代天津租界区风貌之形成,探讨建设法规中对于材料择选的多维度管控、建材工业领域材料生产的机械化变革、建造文化视野下材料使用的多样化发展,由引发建筑材料革新的肇因,探查驱动城市风貌演变的内力,以期为建筑遗产保护与当代城市设计带来有关物质层面的新视域。From the perspective of building mate rials,this paper investigates the formation of urban featu re of Tianjin’s foreign concessions in the modern times.It discusses the multi-dimensional control of material selection in the construction regulations,the mechanized transformation of material production in the industry,and the diversified development of material use in the view of tectonic culture to explore the internal forces promoting the evolution of urban featu re as caused by material innovation,in the hope of bringing up a new material vision for architectural heritage preservation and contemporary urban design.
