摘 要:本研究从语境结构更复杂和晚期语义融合负荷更大的科学隐喻的视角,探讨隐喻加工的半球效应。研究采用半视野语义启动范式,包括刺激呈现间隔(stimulus onset asynchrony,SOA)不同的两个实验(400毫秒和800毫秒),实验语料分为科学隐喻词对、日常隐喻词对、本义词对与无意义词对4种类型。实验结果表明,SOA较短时,右视野(左脑)呈现的日常隐喻与本义目标词加工更快、更准确,左脑表现出对高凸显度语言的加工优势。而科学隐喻目标词左右脑区激活程度无显著的差异,呈现全脑加工特征,充分证明隐喻的并行加工理论。更重要的是,SOA较长时,低凸显度的科学隐喻加工表现出显著的右半球优势。这表明随着SOA的加长,概念加工逐渐深入,右脑的粗加工优势逐渐凸显,支持等级凸显假说和粗细语义加工理论。The current divided visual field(DVF)study introduces scientific metaphor with more complex contextual structures and heavier cognitive load in semantic fusion in later processing stages as a control condition to examine hemispheric asymmetry in metaphoric processing.In the two successive experiments,the participants were presented with four types of word pairs:scientific metaphors,conventional metaphors,literal word pairs,and unrelated word pairs,and asked to perform a semantic judgment task.Two different SOAs(stimulus onset asynchrony):400 and 800 ms were used.The results showed that when SOA was short,the responses to LVF/RH presented target words were more accurate and faster than the responses to RVF/LH target words for li-teral and conventional metaphoric expressions,which supports the previous research findings,indicating that LH has advantages in processing the non-salient meanings.However,as for scientific metaphors,there was no significant difference between hemispheres,which showed the integration of whole brain processing at the early stage,and on the other hand,proveed the parallel processing hypothesis.More importantly,when SOA was prolonged,the scientific metaphoric expressions showed more pronounced metaphor priming with presentation to the LVF/RH.With the extension of SOA,the conceptual processing was more profoundly involved,hence the advantage of coarse processing of the right brain is gradually highlighted.Our findings support the fine-coarse semantic coding theory and the graded salience hypothesis.
