人物细节描写的翻译审美调节--以黛西声音描写为例

摘　　要：人物细节描写是文学作品呈现人物特征的重要手段。小说《了不起的盖茨比》中黛西的声音描写具有特殊意义,既反映人物特点,又揭示主题,具有人物细节描写的典型性。对人物细节描写的翻译,以黛西的声音为例,对比不同译本,探讨翻译中通过审美调节再现人物特点及反映主题,进而再现原作风采。Detail description is a key way to show the character’s traits.The descriptions on Daisy’s sound in The Great Gatsby have unique meanings,which refl ect her characteristics and present the theme of the novel.The descriptions are typical for describing the character’s details.By taking Daisy’s sound as an example,this paper focuses on the character’s detail descriptions,discusses how to represent the character’s traits and the novel’s theme with aesthetic modulations by contrasting diff erent translation versions,so as to represent the beauty of the novel.
