藏在科幻寓言中的人性——《莫罗博士的岛》中的兽人形象解读

摘　　要：《莫罗博士的岛》创作于1896年。此时正处于第一次工业革命的后期,受到科学技术以及当时国家发展情况的影响,英国作家威尔斯在国家的快速发展中意识到科技对人类文明以及环境文明的影响,通过寓言的方式表达内心对科技发展的恐慌。科技带来了便捷,但同时也带来了巨大的破坏力,在科技力量下,真切地展示和放大出人性中恶的一面,作品通过对兽人形象进行隐喻,显示出科技发展过程对人类带来的无法抹去的影响。Dr.morrow’s island was created in 1896 in the late time of the first industrial revolution,and was in⁃fluenced by science and technology and the national development at the time.Amid the rapid development of the country,Wells realized the influence of science and technology on human civilization and environmental civilization.He expressed the fear for science and technology through fables as technology brought convenience but also came with a great destructive force.The power of science and technology truly showed and amplified the evil side of human nature.Through the metaphors of orc images,the fable showed the development of science and technology on human influence.
