摘  要:2020岁末年初突如其来的新型冠状病毒肺炎(COVID-19)疫情,不仅是对我国公共卫生应急管理体系和能力的一次考验,对新闻媒体也构成一次全新挑战。新闻媒体如何管控舆情、助力疫情防控成为话语研究领域的关注焦点。文章以及物系统为分析工具,选取《中国日报》(英文版)新冠疫情相关报道,通过考察报道中及物系统表征及分布,探讨新闻工作者如何通过各类及物过程的选择,实现疫情报道的“建设性”话语构建。研究表明,物质过程、言语过程及关系过程的高频出现凸显了方案性、未来导向、赋权于民、传播积极情绪等建设性新闻特征,这一建设性新闻报道方式不仅有效服务于国家战胜疫情的总体目标,也极大推动了“人民至上、生命至上”的中国抗疫形象的海外传播。The sudden outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)at the end of 2020 is not only a test of China’s public health emergency management system and capacity,but also a new challenge to the news media.How the news media control public opinion and help prevent and control the epidemic has become the focus of discourse research.Using the article and the object system as the analysis tool,this paper selects the relevant reports on the COVID-19 in“China Daily”(English version),and discusses how journalists can realize the“constructive”discourse construction of epidemic reporting through the selection of various transitive processes by investigating the representation and distribution of transitive systems in the reports.The research shows that the high frequency of material process,speech process and relationship process highlight the constructive news features such as programmatic,future oriented,empowering the people,and spreading positive emotions.This constructive news reporting method not only effectively serves the overall goal of the country to overcome the epidemic,but also greatly promotes the overseas spread of China’s anti-epidemic image of“people first,life first”.
