摘  要:热障涂层的作用在于为先进航空发动机热端部件提供热防护,保障其在高温环境中安全服役。低热导率和高断裂韧性一直是新型热障涂层材料选择的关键性能指标。本工作通过固相反应合成了一种性能优异的高熵稀土钽酸盐陶瓷(Y_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Er_(0.2))TaO_(4)((5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4))。结果表明:(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4)具有较低的热导率(1.68 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)@900℃)和较高的热膨胀系数(10.0×10^(-6) K^(-1)@1200℃)。此外,由于独特的铁弹增韧效应,(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4)具有较高的断裂韧性(2.6 MPa·m^(1/2))和较低的脆性指数(2.1μm^(-1/2))。鉴于高熵稀土钽酸盐陶瓷优异的综合性能,(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4)在热障涂层材料领域具有良好的应用前景。The function of thermal barrier coating is to protect the hot components of advanced aero-engines from hot corrosion and ensures the hot components service in high-temperature environment safely.In general,a low thermal conductivity and a high fracture toughness are the key performance indexes for the selection of novel thermal barrier coating materials.In this work,a high-entropy rare-earth tantalate ceramic of(Y_(0.2)Dy_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Er_(0.2))TaO_(4)(i.e.(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4))with the superior properties was synthesized via solid-state reaction.The results indicate that(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4) exhibits a low thermal conductivity(i.e.,1.68 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)@900℃)and a high thermal expansion coefficient(i.e.,10.0×10^(-6) K^(-1)@1200℃).(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4) shows a high fracture toughness(i.e.,2.6 MPa·m^(1/2))and a low brittleness index(i.e.,2.1μm^(-1/2))because of the unique ferroelastic toughening effect.In addition,(5RE_(0.2))TaO_(4) also has a promising application prospect as one of thermal barrier coating materials.
