摘　　要：The Communist Party of China (CPC) has always attached importance to women’s emancipation and development and supported the cause of women’s liberation. The well-known phrase‘women can hold up half the sky’ uttered by Mao Zedong is one of the most influential and vital revolutionary phrases not only in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) but also in the world.
