摘　　要：In the new century,global change has become one of the biggest challenges that threaten our ecosystem and society.Climate warming is causing range shifts of or­ganisms which bring increased risk of species extinc­tion in the polar regions,in the mountain tops and in fragmented habitats.Globalization is accelerating the transmission of many infectious diseases and facilitat­ing biological invasions,which have caused widespread damage to both ecosystems and human society.Solving these challenges urgently requires the application of in­tegrative zoology.
