论闽南语效摄二等韵的三个本字  

On Three Etymologies of Xiào ShèGrade-2 Rhyme in Minnan Dialect

摘　　要：闽南语中有三个常见的口语词,其本字尚未经过详细的论证。这三个口语词分别是:名词“圈养家禽牲畜的地方”tiau^(2)、功能词“用作介词与连词”kiau^(1)和动词“以粗言恶语詈骂”kiau^(6)。经由严格的音韵规则对应及合理的语义演变,这三个语词的本字分别是“巢”“交”和“詨”。这三个口语词都是效摄二等肴韵,性质上属于白话层。从时代来看,闽南语肴韵读-iau的音韵层次,源自六朝时期的江东方言。There are three common spoken words in Minnan Dialect,whose etymologies have not been demonstrated in detail.The three words are:the noun“place where livestock are kept in captivity”tiau^(2),the function word“used as a preposition and conjunction”kiau^(1) and the verb"to curse with foul language”kiau^(6).Through strict correspondingphonological rules and reasonable semantic changes,the etymologies of these three words are“巢”,“交”and“詨”respectively.These three spoken words belong to the Xiào Shègrade-2 rhyme in Qie yùn framework.The final-iau is a colloquial stratum in Min.Regarding the time depth of the stratum,the final-iau can be traced back to the Jiangdong dialect in the south during the Six Dynasties.
