摘　　要：詹姆斯·沃森是世界一流的生物学家,其长期工作的冷泉港实验室是享誉海外的生命科学圣地,有关二者的研究已有不少,但是其间的联系却受到不同程度的忽视。沃森于1968年就任实验室主任,在长达35年的工作中规划研究领域、建立教育项目、筹集款项,并极大地推动了公众科学普及工作。这一系列科学管理实践为现代冷泉港实验室风格的形成作出了重要贡献。以此为出发点,有助于分析在科学知识的生产和传播过程中,如何运用权力实现对人员和物质载体的规范,进而探讨人、物质、知识、权力等要素间的相互关系。James Watson is a world-class biologist,and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is a sacred place for life sciences in the world.There have been many studies related to the two topics,but the connection between them has been neglected to varying degrees.Watson became director of the lab in 1968 and spent 35 years planning research fields,establishing educational projects,raising funds,and greatly promoting the popularization of science.The series of scientific management practice made important contribution to form the style of modern Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.Based on this point,it is helpful to analyze how to use power to realize the regulation of human and material in the process of production and dissemination of scientific knowledge,and then to discuss the interrelation between human,material,knowledge,power and other elements.
