Used KOH as activator and glutaraldehyde as crosslinking agent and FeCl_(3)as magnetizing agent to make pine cone/pine needle-based activated carbon(MACp).The effects of preparation conditions and adsorption conditions on the adsorption performance of activated carbon for Pb^(2+)were studied, the adsorption mechanism of activated carbon for Pb^(2+)was analyzed by various characterization methods. The results show that the activated carbon has developed pore structure, large specific surface area and abundant nitrogen and oxygen functional groups on its surface, the activated carbon has been successfully magnetized, the maximum adsorption capacity of Pb^(2+)is 272.24 mg/g.The adsorption process conforms to the quasi-second-order kinetic model and Freundlich adsorption isotherm model, and the adsorption process is easy to proceed.
